Description
Chicken liver may be introduced as soon as a baby starts solids, which is generally around 6 months of age. The mighty liver is many a time overlooked, even though chicken liver is one of the most nutritious foods we can consume. Chicken liver, beef liver, fish liver, and the livers of all sentient beings are the nutrient powerhouse of the body
KEEP IN MIND that chicken liver contains a lot of vitamin A, an essential nutrient that can be toxic when consumed in excess. For this reason, we need to limit the serving size and frequency of liver that we give to babies. 1 to 2 tablespoons of chicken liver once a week is enough. So that means: babies can have 4 x 65ml tubs of our liver meals spread out over the course of a week.
